What we collect

When you fill out a form, book a class, or join a waitlist on this site, we collect the information you give us: your name, email address, phone number, and anything you write in a comment field. For kids-program inquiries, we collect a parent or guardian's contact information. Our gym-management platform (Gymdesk) stores this information on our behalf.

How we use it

We use your contact information to respond to your inquiry, schedule and confirm classes, and send you information about your membership or trial. That includes email and — if you provided your phone number through one of our forms — text messages about booking your class and following up on your inquiry.

Text messaging (SMS)

By submitting a form with your phone number, you agree to receive text messages from Golden Oak Combat Club about your inquiry, bookings, and related follow-up. Message frequency varies; message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP at any time to opt out, or HELP for help. Phone numbers and opt-in information collected for text messaging are never sold or shared with third parties for their marketing purposes.

Cookies and analytics

This site uses Google (Google Ads) and Meta (Facebook) measurement tools, which set cookies to help us understand how our ads and pages perform — for example, whether an ad led to a booked class. These tools receive standard technical data such as pages visited and approximate location. You can control cookies through your browser settings, and opt out of personalized advertising at Google Ads Settings and in your Facebook ad preferences.

Who we share it with

Only service providers that make the gym run: Gymdesk (scheduling, membership, and messaging), our payment processor for members, and the analytics providers above. We don't sell your personal information, and we don't share it with anyone else's marketing lists.

Your choices

You can ask us to update or delete your contact information at any time — email Chandler@goldenoakcombatclub.com or call/text (330) 915-0201. Unsubscribe links appear in our emails, and STOP works in every text.

Kids

Our website forms are intended for adults. Kids-program signups are made by a parent or guardian, and we collect the adult's contact information — not the child's.
